On December 4, 2013, I introduced and framed the Intelligence Squared U.S. debate on veganism. The process of raising and slaughtering animals is one that I think most of us prefer not to think about very much, and we’re forced to think about it in this debate.
“The Art of Mu Xin: Landscape Paintings and Prison Notes” was organized by the Yale University Art Gallery. It traveled from Yale to the Smart Museum of Art at the University of Chicago, The Honolulu Academy of Art, and The Asia Society in New York. At the completion of the exhibition, the paintings were donated to Yale University Art Gallery.
I’m pleased to share that Intelligence Squared US will celebrate its 100th debate on Wednesday, February 11 at Kaufman Music Center. The motion is appropriate to the occasion as well: Declinists Be Damned: Bet On America.
